I am getting this error when I am trying to close a table.
These are the steps to get this error.
Steps:
Start DB
Start App
Login
Press New (Table)
-Table Number
-People
Select Items
Press Finish
(at this point the bill is shown with Jasper Viewer - that should happen by create an order?)
Select Ticket
Press Settle
Press Cash Transaction
So at this point the following buttons leads to
the error: Exact Change, Next Amt and Finish
Basicall, I can not close this table. This makes the software unusable for me because if i can not close table then I can not
1) Serve my customers their bill.
2) Re-open the table for the next customer.
This is a major flaw within the software and it renders it useless. This is a shame because I really like the software and you guys have obviously put a lot of time into it which i appreciate.
It would be great if there was a fix for this.

One guy says to edit the jave but I am unfamiliar with the process. Can anyone shed ligt on the subject because I really want to use this software.

Yes you need to edit the java of the pos software or basically the java bean. You can look at the manual given with the device or you can just look at the basic java bean of the software program over the web for the coding and get it matched with yours and edit it accordingly.
Same issue although valor. required doesn't work for tthis function and breaks more source code.
I am unable to reproduce this error. Would you be able to get the exception that is thrown? Should be in the dos window created by the app.
