it may be a good idea and eco-friendly to use monitor instead of printer in kitchen. The waiter operate a touch screen terminal to acknowledge delivery of order and the same screen (by video splitter) can be used inside the kitchen so it is not necessary to develop just for the IN-kitchen one.
This also helps to trace missing orders.

This option would be awesome if constructed much like a drive thru window. For selling ice cream at a take out only shop, it would permit one clerk to man the register, while other clerks fill the order. This would be much better than having it print because of the speed and volume of sales during peak periods. :)

A different screen with order details, similar to the right section of the ticket order screen, repeated for each ticket, would work best for an ice cream, rapid order/drive thru style business. Would love to see this.
Really are there any video bump bars in the works for Floreant? That wouldn't even have to be incorporated into the normal executable it could be a separate jar that only has the ability to thumb through and display orders.
